OCCI Discusses Prospects of Economic Cooperation with the Czech Republic

A trade delegation from the Czech Republic, headed by Borivoj Minar, the Vice President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, visited the headquarters of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the presence of Jaroslav Kubera, the president of the Czech Senate where they were greeted by H.E Qais Mohammed Moosa Al Yousuf, the Chairman of the Omani Chamber.

They discussed during the meeting, the ways to strengthen the economic relations between the two friendly countries, and identifying the opportunities in various fields and encouraging the Omani companies to enter into trade and investment partnerships with their Czech counterparts.

H.E Qais Mohammed Moosa Al Yousuf, the Chairman of the Omani Chamber, said in his speech that "the trade and investment relations between Oman and the Czech Republic are improving continuously, and the Omani Chamber is keen to provide all possible and available support and possibilities to develop those relations during the next phase," pointing out that "we all have to take many practical steps to increase the trade relations and raise the trade exchange."

For his part, Jaroslav Kubera, the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, said that "there is seriousness on the Czech side to start trade and investment cooperation with the Omani side, where there is an opportunity for the two sides to develop the cooperation between the Omani companies that have investments in the foreign markets."

Borivoj Minar, the head of the Czech trade delegation and the vice president of the Czech Chamber of Commerce stressed on the importance of trade and investment relations with the Sultanate, as there are a large number of investment opportunities that both sides can benefit from and develop.
