An Emirati-Syrian Private Sector Forum in Abu Dhabi

The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the UAE, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized the Emirati-Syrian Private Sector Forum to study the possibility of enhancing investment and commercial cooperation between UAE businessmen and their Syrian counterparts and discussing the most important opportunities for mutual benefit.

Mohammed Thani Murshed Al Rumaithi, the Chairman of the Federation of Chambers, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed the interest of the business community and the private sector in the UAE in investment opportunities available in the Syrian private sector, pointing to the importance of different business partnerships in various sectors of investment between the business community and the private sector on the two sides, adding that the organizing of the UAE-Syrian private sector forum comes within the framework of reviewing the most important opportunities and investment climates that will create new business partnerships and projects. It is also an opportunity for investors, private sector and business people to hold fruitful meetings, allowing them to become acquainted with the advantages of the business environment.

For his part, Mohammad Hamsho the head of the Syrian Trade Delegation, and Secretary General of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, stressed that "the visit of the Syrian private sector delegation is to work on openning new horizons for partnerships in the fields of investment and trade, calling on the business community in the UAE private sector to invest in various Economic and trade activities in Syria ".
