The Central Bank of UAE data showed that the assets of banks operating in the country rose to AED 2854.3 billion at the end of November 2018, registering an increase of 6% compared to November 2017.
Bank deposits and total credit rose by 7% and 4% respectively. While the money supply (M1) rose by 0.5% from 477.2 billion dirhams at the end of October 2018 to 479.5 billion dirhams at the end of last November. Money supply (M2) rose 1.8 percent from AED 1,265.7 billion at the end of October 2018 to AED 1,288.4 billion at the end of last November.
Money supply (N3) rose 1.8 percent from AED 1,565.9 billion at the end of October 2018 to AED 1,593.5 billion at the end of November.
