An international economic report revealed that Kuwait’s private wealth reached about $300 billion, while the per capita Wealth of Kuwaiti citizens reached $119,000.
The report classified Kuwait as part of the “high income group”, revealing that per capita GDP is about $70,000. According to the report, the number of Kuwaitis whose wealth exceeded 1 billion of dollars accounted roughly 6, those between 500 million and one billion dollars, accounted 8, between 100 million and 500 million dollars, 70, and those whose wealth ranged between $50 million and $100 million, accounted nearly 126.
As for those with a wealth ranging between 10 and 50 million dollars, they accounted about 1,500, while those between $1 million and $5 million, accounted 26,000, which represents 2% of the population of Kuwait.
