H.E. Mohammed Choucair, Head of the Federation of the Lebanese Chambers, discussed with Mr. Franciscos Verros, Greek Ambassador of Lebanon, ways to develop economic relations between the two countries on various levels.
"There are many commonalities between our two countries, especially in terms of culture and lifestyle," he said. "Efforts should be made to translate these positive factors into real economic partnerships."
He added: “The number of exchanges between the two countries is not satisfying and thus, we hope that together we will be able to identify the sectors of common interest to enhance these figures. There is great potential for cooperation in many fields, especially with respect to the major projects launched at the Cedar Conference on Infrastructure Development in Lebanon, in the gas and oil field. "
From his part, the Greek ambassador highlighted the efforts made by Mr. Choucair towards strengthening the economic cooperation between the two countries and he expressed as well his keenness to do the strict necessary to help developing further these relations, namely, the relations with the private sector of both countries.
