For his part, the Secretary-General of the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber, Qaisar Hijazin, revealed that trade between the Arab countries and Belgium reached 19.5 billion euros in 2017, a 5% increase compared to 2016, considering that "the UAE is the first Arab trade partner for Belgium, where the volume of trade between the two countries amounted more than 6 billion euros in 2017.
