Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar Alluaibi revealed a significant increase in the rate of exports and revenues from crude oil sales during the first half of this year, more than $ 40 billion compared to the first half of last year, in which Iraq achieved revenues of $ 27 billion. Alluaibi pointed out that "the total revenues achieved during the first half of this year amounted to 40 billion and 345 million and 235 thousand dollars, while the revenues achieved for the first half of last year, 27 billion and 642 million and 329 thousand dollars," explaining that "the total exports achieved for the first half of 2018, also recorded an increase in rates was 625 million and 193 thousand and 749 barrels, while in the past year, 592 million and 439 thousand and 163 barrels. He added: "the average selling price for the month of June was up by $ 69.322 per barrel compared to the same month last year, while the selling price for the month of June 2017 was $ 42,067 a barrel, which will contribute in reducing the proportion of deficit in the federal budget for this year. "
