"The Board of Directors is well aware of the twists and turns of the world's economies, but we are monitoring a lot of opportunities," said Samir Nass, chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during the launch of the 100-day plan. Hence, the biggest challenge for us is to change and correct the track of the chamber through our 100-day plan of action that sets our strategy and priorities for the time being and in the long term, which will enable us to seize opportunities and achieve more gains at all levels."
He added: "We aim to meet all the aspirations of the commercial street in Bahrain, and we have been keen since we received our tasks to reach all merchants and business owners."
Mr. Nass stressed that "the Chamber has witnessed a strong start and impact, where we began our first steps to form a consultative council, which includes the veteran economic minds that would support the experience of the Chamber," pointing out that "we are working today to review and update cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding concluded with the countries of the world, which will contribute to the achievement of more benefits and economic gains, and we will activate our internal, regional and international contacts to enhance the presence and commercial and diplomatic representation of the Chamber and Bahrain.
