    - Mr. Samir MAJOUL was born on November 28, 1955, in Tunis.

    - He pursued his studies at Lycée Carnot in the capital and later at Paris-Dauphine University, where he studied management and finance.

    - Upon returning to Tunisia, he became involved in entrepreneurship within a family business specializing in food canning.

    - Mr. Samir MAJOUL belongs to a family that contributed to the founding of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade, and Handicrafts (UTICA).

    - He rose through all levels of UTICA's organizational structures. He served as a social negotiator, a member of a national trade union chamber, then its president, vice-president of the National Federation of Food Industries, and eventually its president.

    - Mr. Samir MAJOUL is a board member of several support organizations, professional associations, and business collectives.

    - In 2013, he was elected Vice-President of UTICA. During this period, in 2015, UTICA was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize alongside the National Dialogue Quartet.

    - In 2018, Samir MAJOUL was elected President of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade, and Handicrafts.

    - In November 2018, he was elected Vice-President of the National Social Dialogue Council.

    - In January 2019, he was elected Vice-President of the International Mediterranean Tomato Organization (AMITOM) for a three-year term.

    - Since September 2024, Mr. Samir MAJOUL has been serving as the President of the Union of Arab Chambers.
