Federation Of Egyptian Industries

  • Since its inception in 1915, the Federation of Egyptian Industries has played an active role as “the voice of industry in Egypt” in defending the interests of the industrial sector and advancing it to achieve growth and economic and social stability for the state.

The Federation of Egyptian Industries is one of the largest employers’ organizations in Egypt, as it includes 19 industrial chambers in its membership and represents approximately 104,000 industrial establishments, 90% of which belong to the private sector, employing more than 2 million workers, in addition to the industrial sector’s contribution of about 18% of the national economy. Since its inception, the Federation has been carrying out its responsibilities towards the industrial sector in Egypt through continuous support and defense of its interests, believing that industry is the engine of sustainable development and the tool for alleviating poverty and unemployment and achieving the prosperity of countries.

The members of the union are divided into 19 working chambers, each of which represents an official industrial sector operating in Egypt. The chambers work effectively with their members, companies and industrial institutions, providing them with technical support to develop and grow their businesses. The chambers also arrange members’ meetings with their counterparts from international institutions and facilitate their participation in international exhibitions to promote their products and encourage export and investment.
