Tunisia will host the 8th Arab-Chinese Businessmen's Conference on April 2-3, 2019. The conference is organized by the League of Arab States in cooperation with the Union of Arab Chambers. China is working with the Arab countries to build the economic belt of the Silk Road, which aims to establish strategic partnership with the Arab countries, not only in trade, but also expanding it to the fields of joint investment in all sectors of service and productivity, especially supporting the cooperation in the energy sector, raising the level of investments, supporting communication in the field of infrastructure and improving exchange mechanisms. The "Silk Road Economic Belt" initiative was launched to deepen economic cooperation between the countries bordering the road belt and to promote the mutual benefit among civilizations.
