Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Greece, Mr. Prokopis Pavlopoulos, in the presence of a number of Arab and European Presidents, Ministers, Decision-makers and leaders of the business community, the Arab-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Development organized the third session of the “EU Arab World Summit: Shared Horizons” under the title of “Rethinking the approach to reach the shared horizons” in cooperation with the League of Arab States and the Union of Arab Chambers.

The Summit discussed developing neighborhood policies, migration, climate change, and energy cooperation, FDI trends and financial opportunities in the two regions, digital and knowledge economy cooperation, fostering transportation for leveling up trade and investment, in addition to the multi-level cooperation between Greece and the Arab world.

In addition to these issues, the Summit addressed other important aspects of cooperation, including climate change mitigation, energy and renewable energy cooperation, digital transformation and joint investments in e-commerce, smart cities, infrastructure, and many other vital developments.

The Summit also focused on specific strategic objectives and development issues related to the key priority areas of cooperation in education, digitization, and access to agricultural markets, investment in new technological solutions and finding the appropriate solutions.
