Tunisia's airports ended last year with the largest jump in travel traffic, despite the challenges and difficulties that remain as a result of high costs and wars that have affected global air transport.
The number of passengers arriving in Tunisia in 2024 rose to an unprecedented level to exceed 12 million, giving a dose of optimism for a greater recovery on flights during the current world, especially with tourism achieving unprecedented numbers.
The National Airports Office revealed that the number of passengers at all airports in the country in 2024 reached more than 12.5 million passengers for the first time. This means that travel over the past twelve months has grown by 12.9 percent year-on-year, with Tunisia in 2023 recording more than 8 million passengers.
