A study by the Investment Promotion Agency in Qatar predicted that the size of the global digital economy will exceed $11 trillion by 2025. The global economy is expected to reach $200 trillion before 2050. The report showed that the MENA region, particularly the GCC, is gaining more strategic importance in this sector.

Digital transformation, climate change, and demographic shifts continue to reshape the global economic landscape, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, especially the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, is leading the new perception of the global economy, thanks to its adoption of many strategic initiatives and huge investments to achieve sustainable growth and innovation.
