The United Arab Emirates continues to strengthen its position on the global digital transformation map, benefiting from a forward-looking vision and ambitious policies that have made digital innovation a key pillar for sustainable development and economic competitiveness.
According to the United Nations E-Government Survey 2024, the UAE ranked first globally in the telecommunications infrastructure index, achieving a perfect score of 100 percent. This reflects the extent of the spread and high efficiency of digital networks and translates the maturity of the country’s digital infrastructure. In 2024, the UAE government achieved a remarkable milestone in digital services, executing 173.7 million digital government transactions, while the number of beneficiaries exceeded 57 million users across 1,419 digital government services, with a satisfaction rate of 91 percent.
