The latest data issued by the Central Bank showed that tourism income in Jordan during the first five months of this year was recorded at $ 2.6 billion.

According to the data, tourism income decreased by 6.5 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2023, due to the decline in the number of tourists by 10 percent.

It is clear that the continuation of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip was the reason for this decline, while experts rule out growth in Jordanian tourism during this year, as the government tries to maintain the level recorded in 2023.
