Foreign companies have incurred more than $107 billion in write-offs and revenue losses from exiting Russia since the war with Ukraine began more than two years ago.

According to a Reuters report on corporate disclosures and financial statements, losses have increased by about a third since the last census in August last year.

As the Russian invasion continues amid crumbling Western military aid, and the details of Western sanctions regimes increase, corporate exits from Russia will continue to face more difficulties and will have to accept larger losses and write-offs.
