Oil prices fell on Wednesday after Russia approved US President Donald Trump's proposal for a temporary halt to attacks on energy infrastructure between Moscow and Kyiv, which could lead to more Russian oil entering global markets.
Brent crude futures fell 12 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $70.44 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude fell 15 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $66.75.
