The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked first among the G20 countries, and second globally in the growth rate of the number of international tourists, achieving a growth of 50 percent in the first three quarters of this year, compared to 2019, according to the World Tourism Report "Barometer" issued by the World Tourism Organization for November.
Saudi Arabia also ranked first globally among the G20 countries in the rate of worker productivity growth for 2022, reinforced by concerted efforts between the public and private sectors. This year, the number of Saudis working in the private sector jumped from 1.7 million to 2.3 million, including 361,000 who had never worked, reflecting the attractiveness of the Saudi labor market. Women's participation in the labor market increased from 17 percent to 35.3 percent, exceeding the Vision 2030 target of 30 percent.
