UAE Regains its Position among the 10 Most Competitive Countries in the World 2023

For the seventh consecutive year, the UAE topped the Arab economies and countries in the Middle East and North Africa region in the Global Competitiveness Yearbook 2023 report, as it advanced from 12th place in the 2022 ranking to tenth place globally in the 2023 ranking.

According to the report issued by the Global Competitiveness Center of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland, the UAE, in the thirty-fifth edition of the Global Competitiveness Yearbook, continued its progress from sixth to fourth place globally in the axis of economic performance.

The UAE ranked 12th in the Global Competitiveness Yearbook 2022, down from 9th in 2020 and 2021.
