Over the past few decades, Brazil and the Arab countries have undergone countless geopolitical, economic and social changes. However, the Arab-Brazilian Chamber has been able to keep pace with these developments and explore opportunities based on its anticipation of events, thus consolidating a valuable legacy that future generations will benefit from. Undoubtedly, transcending the prevailing stereotypes, without compromising moral values and social traditions, constitutes the most appropriate path towards the best direction of success.

In 2021, the world entered a state of recovery from the Corona virus and the abandonment of the precautionary measures that had accompanied humans for more than a year, but the repercussions of the crisis resulting from the outbreak of the epidemic still exist, especially in the field of logistics. The Russian-Ukrainian war also imposed radical changes on the world economic scene. However, despite all these negative factors, the Arab countries have hosted a group of major global events, such as the "Expo Dubai 2020", and will host in the near future the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 27-28) and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

In the first session of the Arab-Brazilian Economic Forum, a group of Arab and Brazilian economic experts, businessmen and officials will discuss the changes in the global economic landscape and their impact on business. And the extent of the impact of the dynamics of the Arab and Brazilian markets on companies' decisions regarding internationalization.

The session will also address:

·  Geopolitical, economic and social changes that generate business opportunities.

· The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and international conflicts on trade exchanges between Brazil and Arab countries in the coming years.

· Opportunities resulting from Arab countries hosting major international events during 2021 and 2022, and the expected results for 2023.

· Trends that will affect the world in the coming years and what can be expected from the global economy.

• 11:20 - 12:18: Session Two - Economic Integration and Enhancing Competitive Strength.

The "Global Value Chain" (GVC) has contributed to bridging distances, consolidating integration between different markets and strengthening trade openness policies.

This new scenario brings about more profound changes in the phenomenon of globalization that we are currently experiencing. With rising costs and escalating risks to global economic operations, it has become imperative for companies to determine where they will compete within the Global Value Chain (GVC).

Governments and institutions, such as chambers of commerce, will need to do more to support and promote trade and business between countries.

The second session of the Arab-Brazilian Economic Forum will have the participation of a group of senior experts who will present their views on the opportunities to intensify trade integration and diversify the lists of goods exchanged between countries.

The session will also address:

· Diversification opportunities in the lists of goods exchanged between countries, to include more value-added goods, and intensify technological exchange.

· Participation of a selection of the most famous experts in the field of trade agreements.
