The Union of Arab Chambers is organizing within the framework of the "Expo Dubai 2020", in partnership with the League of Arab States and the Investment and Technology Promotion Office - Bahrain of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and in cooperation with the Union of Arab Banks and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2022, under the slogan "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future".

The forum comes within the framework of the Union of Arab Chambers’ follow-up to the recommendations of the Arab Private Sector Forum, which was held at the Union’s headquarters on 16/1/2019, and in implementation of the Union's plan to encourage and stimulate entrepreneurship and innovation by supporting entrepreneurs, because of its positive impact on advancing the economic wheel in countries. Arab led by the private sector.

 

The forum will focus on what needs to be done at the level of governments, multinational organizations and the private sector to achieve entrepreneurship and economic resilience in the Arab region, Africa and the world after Covid-19.

The International Forum for Entrepreneurs and Investment will be held from 28-30 March 2022, and the following events will be organized within it:

 

1- The second edition of the "Arab Rally for Entrepreneurship and Innovation" competition, which aims to develop the spirit of innovation and leadership among Arab youth. The first edition was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain on November 11-13, 2019. This competition will be organized with the support and sponsorship of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Bahrain, in partnership with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

The idea of ​​the "Rally" focuses on selecting the youth component between the ages of 18 and 30 years, as half of the participants in the teams competing in the competition are supposed to be university students. The top three winning teams will be selected during the forum period.

The Arab Rally Program and Competition for Entrepreneurship and Innovation provides an opportunity for university entrants in the Arab world to present proposals for innovative emerging projects in various fields, for example (1) solutions for post-Coronavirus pandemic (2) trade and heritage (3) agricultural technology (4) fourth generation technology Industrial (5) Programming and Applications (6) Renewable Energy Sources (7) Smart Technology. The organizing committee will study the advanced projects to select the teams qualified for the finals, where prizes will be distributed to the winners within the activities of the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2022 in Dubai Expo.

2- The Arab Week of the Arab-Foreign Joint Chambers:

It will be organized in cooperation with the joint chambers, to present the experiences of the headquarters countries of these chambers in terms of best practices in supporting small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurs and innovators in their countries, and the effective participation of entrepreneurs from the common chambers in the forum in order to exchange ideas and Arab and international experiences in this field and to introduce entrepreneurs to each other And the areas of establishing links and partnerships for entrepreneurs with entrepreneurs in the Arab region and the world.
