The Australian Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Halal Trade and Marketing Center are organizing a joint webinar, entitled: Halal Trade Opportunities for Australian Small and Medium Enterprises, on October 27th, with the webinar starting at 10:00 am until 11:15 am Dubai time. The joint webinar will highlight the following:

·        Shed light on opportunities across key consumer sectors inspired by Islamic ethical values ​​that include food and beverages, finance, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, media, entertainment, fashion and tourism.

·        Introducing the guide “Dubai a global gateway to the halal industry” in the halal industry, providing opportunities for marketing and an ecosystem including the certification and compliance process.

·        Include a Q/A discussion by a panel of experienced business representatives who will discuss the journey of halal trade success as well as the opportunities and challenges facing emerging Australian small business exporters to participate in the fast-growing multi-sector halal market.

It should be noted that Australia is currently the fourth largest exporter of halal food and drinks, as it is expected that Australian companies participating in the multi-sector halal market will achieve a compound annual growth rate of more than 6.3 percent to reach 1.97 trillion US dollars (2.90 trillion Australian dollars) by 2024.
