Germany and the Arab world have been working together successfully in education, training and higher education for many years. Germany's practice-based training curricula are highly popular in many countries of the world as well as in the Arab countries. Despite the wide investments in national education systems and the growing number of university graduates, the demand for skilled hands in the Arab world is still very high. There is also a growing need for schools, universities and apprenticeship in parallel with the rapid increase in population. This leads to enormous business potential in all Arab countries for German companies and institutions specialized in education and training industry.
In order to promote further promising cooperation between German and Arab partners in the field of education, the German-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ghorfa) in cooperation with iMOVE of the Federal Institute for Vocational Training (BIBB), the League of Arab States & the Union of Arab Chambers, is organizing the 8th Arab-German Forum for Vocational Education and Training during the period 27 and 28 March (2019), at the Palace Hotel in Berlin.
In recent years, the Forum has become a platform for information and communication for companies and institutions for education and vocational training, universities and educational institutions in Germany and the Arab world, and will be presented in a new format in 2019.
High-level delegations from different Arab countries are expected to provide their needs for education and vocational training. On the other hand, the German companies and institutions will have the opportunity to present their skills using the best examples of practice in this field.
