Standard Chartered Bank revealed that Bitcoin will reach only half of its earlier expected level in 2026, forecasting the cryptocurrency at US$150,000 instead of the previously projected US$300,000. Nevertheless, the revised target still reflects more than 65 percent upside.
The bank also lowered its estimates through 2029, with the bank’s Global Head of Digital Assets Research, Geoff Kendrick, saying he now expects Bitcoin to reach US$500,000 in 2030 — two years later than previously anticipated.
