Saudi Cabinet Approves 2026 Budget with Revenues of 1.147 Trillion Riyals

The Saudi Council of Ministers approved the Kingdom’s 2026 budget, with revenues estimated at around 1.147 trillion riyals. Total expenditures amount to about 1.313 trillion riyals, bringing the deficit to 165.4 billion riyals.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, called on ministers and officials to effectively implement the programs and development and social projects included in the budget, contributing to the achievement of the targets of Vision 2030 and placing citizens and their service at the top of its priorities.

Saudi Arabia’s 2026 budget includes a 2 percent increase in spending compared to the preliminary 2025 budget. The new budget focuses on maintaining an expansionary approach and marks the beginning of Vision 2030’s third phase, which emphasizes accelerating delivery and intensifying implementation efforts.
