Al-Mikhlafi: Trade Volume Between Kuwait and Germany Exceeds $1.5 Billion Annually

Assistant Director General of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Imad Al-Zaid emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between the Kuwaiti private sector and German companies. He noted during a visit by a German economic trade delegation that the visit reflects the strength of Kuwaiti-German relations and the opportunities for cooperation across technology and energy fields.

For his part, Secretary-General of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdulaziz Al-Mikhlafi highlighted the deep economic ties between the two countries and the importance of enhancing cooperation in technology, energy, and digital transformation. He affirmed that Kuwait is a significant partner for the German economy, with bilateral trade amounting to around $1.5 billion annually, most of which represents German exports to the Kuwaiti market.
