The Saudi General Authority for Statistics revealed that Saudi Arabia's real GDP grew by 5 percent during the third quarter of 2025 compared to the third quarter of 2024, marking the highest growth rate in ten quarters according to the Authority’s data.
Oil activities recorded growth of 8.2 percent, while non-oil activities increased by 4.5 percent. Government activities grew by 1.8 percent year-on-year. Non-oil activities represented the main contributor to real GDP growth, accounting for 2.6 percentage points, followed by oil activities at 2.0 percentage points, in addition to a contribution of 0.2 percentage points each from government activities and net taxes on products.
