Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Statistics revealed that the overall unemployment rate (for Saudis and non-Saudis) reached 3.2 percent in Q2 2025, rising by 0.4 percentage points compared to Q1 of the same year, and declining by 0.1 percentage points compared to Q2 2024.
The overall labor force participation rate (for Saudis and non-Saudis) was 67.1 percent, down 1.1 percentage points from Q1 2025, while up 0.9 percentage points compared to Q2 2024.
The unemployment rate among Saudis stood at 6.8 percent in Q2 2025, up 0.5 percentage points compared to Q1 of the same year, and down 0.3 points compared to Q2 2024.
