Egypt's Foreign Exchange Reserves Hit Highest Level in Decades

Egypt's foreign exchange reserves rose to $ 48.144 billion by the end of April, compared to $ 47.757 billion in March 2025, an increase of $ 387 million.

According to data from the Central Bank of Egypt, foreign exchange levels recorded in April are the highest in decades.

Egypt's monetary reserves consist of the state's gold reserves, Suez Canal revenues, Egyptian export earnings, and remittances from Egyptians working abroad.

Egypt's foreign exchange reserves increased during the month of March to record $ 47.757 billion, compared to $ 47.394 billion in February 2025.
