UAE Hotel Revenues Up 4% to AED 33.5 Billion

The Ministry of Economy revealed that the revenues of hotel establishments increased to AED 33.5 billion during the first nine months of 2024, a growth rate of 4 percent compared to the same period last year. Hotel occupancy in the seven emirates also increased to 77.8 percent, among the highest in the world. Hotel nights recorded about 75.5 million nights from January to September 2024, an increase of 8 percent compared to the same period in 2023.

The delegation of the United Arab Emirates, headed by Dr. Abdulrahman Hassan Al-Maeini, Assistant Undersecretary for the Intellectual Property Sector at the Ministry of Economy, participated in the meeting of the 27th ordinary session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism, which was held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo, under the chairmanship of the Sultanate of Oman, where the meeting aimed to enhance the prospects of joint tourism cooperation during the coming period, and to discuss a set of new initiatives aimed at competitively Arab tourism and supporting its attractiveness to tourists from all over the world.
