The Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat affirmed that digital exports in Egypt are achieving continuous growth, reaching about $ 6.2 billion, during 2023.
He added during the opening of Deloitte's first innovation center in Cairo, with a maximum capacity of 5,000 specialists, that the ministry is working to provide high-value jobs for Egyptian youth, as well as increasing digital exports, and supporting the state's efforts to build a knowledge-based economy.
The new center will provide artificial intelligence services, data analytics, marketing and commerce, cloud services, cybersecurity services, and enterprise resource planning. The center has an investment of $30 million over three years. Deloitte opened a center to export innovative digital services from Egypt, despite its presence in the Egyptian market, decades ago as a consulting and accounting firm. The center is one of a group of key centers opened by the company around the world and one of the important centers in the provision of cross-border technology services.
