IMF Raises Forecast For UAE Economic Growth in 2025 to 5.1%

In a report titled "Global Economic Outlook: Political Transition and Growing Threats," the International Monetary Fund (IMF) maintained its forecast for real GDP growth of the UAE by about 4% in 2024, while raising its forecast for 2025 from 4.2% in the April forecast to 5.1% in the October forecast.

The October review, on the sidelines of the fall meetings of the IMF and the World Bank in Washington, showed that the inflation forecast for 2024 was revised upwards to 2.3% from 2.1% in the April forecast, and raised the forecast for 2025 to 2.1% from 2% in the previous forecast.

He predicted that inflation in the UAE will decline in 2024 to 2.1 percent and to 2 percent in 2025.
