The Largest Budget in Algeria's History worth $ 126 Billion

The Algerian government submitted to Parliament the draft budget law for the year 2025, which is the largest in the history of the state with a value of $ 126 billion, and mainly included a reduction in some taxes, an increase in the state's social spending, measures to encourage free economic initiatives, encourage the establishment of economic activities in the southern and Saharan regions, and start preparations for the establishment of free zones with neighboring countries.

The government adopted the 2025 budget, the largest in the history of the country's budgets, with a total of $ 126 billion, and more than the budget for the current year 2024, which amounted to the equivalent of $ 113 billion, transfers and social spending represent 35.3% of this budget, in the context of what the government considers to enhance the social character of the state.
