Qatar's Central Bank Assets Increased by 3.16 Percent

Qatar Central Bank's assets increased by the end of August 2024 at an all-time high. The Central Bank's assets at the end of last month recorded 304.79 billion riyals, compared to 295.44 billion riyals at the end of August 2023, an annual increase of 3.16 percent, or the equivalent of 9.35 billion riyals.

On a monthly basis, QCB's assets grew by 1.44 percent, or QR4.33 billion, compared to QR300.46 billion at the end of July 2024. Since the beginning of this year, QCB's assets have increased at the end of2023 of 298.48 billion riyals, by 2.11 percent, to an estimated 6.31 billion riyals.
