The Central Bank of Egypt's Assets Record 6.057 Trillion Pounds

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) revealed in a report on the details of the financial statements that its gold balances rose to EGP 454.925 billion at the end of the first half of 2024, compared to EGP 238.6 billion at the end of June 2023, in addition to the increase in the CBE's contributions to the capital of international financial institutions, to EGP 22.641 billion at the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 19.378 billion at the end of June 2023.

The bank's total assets also increased to EGP 6.057 trillion at the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 4.480 trillion at the end of June 2023, an increase of EGP 1.6 trillion.
