The Bahrain Chamber organized the third edition of the 'Try It' program, which offered a two-week internship opportunity for 25 students aged 14 to 18, hosted by 10 participating private sector companies.
In his speech at the closing ceremony of the program, Samir Nass, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, stressed that the "Try It" initiative comes as part of the Chamber's efforts in social responsibility, which aims to encourage participants to pursue technical professions vital to economic development. He explained that the program is in line with the Chamber's strategy for its thirtieth session, which focuses on supporting the government in developing the infrastructure necessary to keep pace with future developments, including the provision of skilled labor and vocational training facilities, improving the quality of higher education and promoting research and development, with the aim of transforming the national economy into a productive knowledge-based economy.
He praised the companies that provided practical training to the participants in the program, namely Bapco, Bahrain International Circuit, Bahrain National Life Insurance Company, Gulf Hotels Group, Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa, Al Hikma International School, D3 Consultant, Inn Interior Design, NUUN Official for Watches, in addition to the Bahrain Chamber.
