The Central Bank of Egypt revealed that remittances from workers abroad reached $ 7.5 billion in the second quarter of April to June, up from $ 4.6 billion in the same period last year.

According to the Central Bank, remittances from Egyptians working abroad escalated during June 2024 for the fourth consecutive month by 65.9 percent to record about $ 2.6 billion, compared to about $ 1.5 billion during June 2023.
