Saudi Arabia's Foreign Assets Rose 5.5% to 1.754 Trillion Riyals in June

Saudi Arabia's foreign assets rose in June by 5.5 percent to 1.754 trillion riyals ($467.7 billion), compared to 1.662 trillion riyals ($443 billion) in the same month of 2023, the highest level since November 2022.

The Saudi Central Bank's monthly report showed that reserve assets rose 0.06 percent month-on-month in June, from 1.753 trillion riyals in May. According to the report, the bank's net foreign assets in June amounted to about 1.670 trillion riyals. Lending to the private sector increased 11.32 percent year-on-year in June.
