The Chairman of the Chamber of Bahrain, Samir Nass, stressed the importance of strengthening relations with ASEAN for the benefit of the private sector and the national economy, especially Bahraini companies operating in Southeast Asia.
This came when he received a delegation from the ASEAN-Bahrain Council headed by Shaikh Duaij bin Isa Al Khalifa, accompanied by ASEAN Council Vice-President Feryal Nass.
Nass stressed the need to establish effective partnerships with international organizations to promote development in the business sector and improve current and future trade, economic, and investment relations. For his part, Sheikh Duaij expressed his enthusiasm to enhance cooperation with the Bahrain Chamber to unify efforts, encourage innovation, and stimulate trade and investment opportunities between Bahrain and ASEAN countries. He affirmed the Council's commitment to supporting the business sector to achieve mutual economic growth.
