Egyptian-European Investment Conference Witnesses the Signing Of 29 Agreements worth 49 Billion Euros

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly revealed the signing of 29 agreements and memorandums of understanding worth 49 billion euros with companies affiliated with the European Union, in addition to the signing of six agreements and memoranda of understanding worth 18.7 billion euros with other alliances and companies.

In his speech during the closing session of the two-day Egyptian-European Investment Conference, Madbouly stressed that “this conference comes in light of Egypt's deep belief in the importance of facing the current economic challenges through a serious economic reform program that courageously confronts the structural imbalances in the Egyptian economy over decades, taking into account the social dimension at the same time,” considering that “despite facing many undeniable repercussions of regional and international crises on Egypt and many countries of the world, The Egyptian economic reform program, which began to be implemented before the occurrence of these crises, especially the Corona crisis, has been keen to absorb and absorb these crises as much as possible while continuing to implement the objectives of the reform program, foremost of which is supporting the role of the private sector through the implementation of the state ownership policy document, and attracting foreign direct investments to the Egyptian economy.”
