Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani participated in the Qatar-Spain Business Roundtable, which was held in Madrid on the sidelines of the Qatari-Spanish Strategic Dialogue, in the presence of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
The President of the Chamber stressed the strong relations between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Spain at all levels. He pointed out that the trade exchange between the two countries amounted to 1.5 billion US dollars in 2023, a growth of more than 10 percent compared to the previous year. He considered that Spain is one of the important trading partners of the State of Qatar.
He stressed the importance of the role of the Qatari and Spanish private sectors in enhancing the process of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. He called on Spanish business owners to visit Doha and see cooperation opportunities of mutual interest.
