The UAE dominated the list of the 100 most powerful Arabs for the year 2024, prepared by Gulf Business magazine: 100 MOST POWERFUL ARABS 2024. The list was topped by Yasser Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of Aramco and President of Riyadh Air. He was followed by Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Managing Director and CEO of ADNOC Group and Chairman of Masdar. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group and Chairman of Emirates NBD, came third. Fourth, Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, President and CEO of Qatar Energy Company and Chairman and Managing Director of Industries Qatar. Ranked Fifth Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Managing Director and Group CEO, Mubadala Investment Company.
