Oil prices fell in early trading on Tuesday, extending the previous session's losses when prices fell to four-month lows, as investors worried about increased supplies later in the year.
Brent crude futures fell 20 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $78.16 a barrel. Brent crude closed below $80 for the first time since Feb. 7, after falling more than 3 percent on Monday.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 17 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $74.05. It closed near a four-month low yesterday after falling 3.6 percent.
