The Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber Samir Nass has received Lesotho Ambassador to Bahrain Pomo Frank Svonia and resident in Kuwait. During the meeting, Nass gave an overview of the Bahrain Chamber and its tasks and role in shaping the economic scene in Bahrain in partnership with the government through its legislative and executive branches. He expressed the keenness of the Bahrain Chamber to build trade relations with Lesotho.
For his part, Ambassador Sophonia gave an overview of his country and the potential of cooperation between Bahrain and Lesotho, pointing out that mining and diamond mining are among the strongest areas in the industrial sector in Lesotho, stressing the availability of business and investment opportunities in the field of pharmaceuticals and textiles.
President Nass also met with Chargé d'Affaires at the Tunisian Embassy Mona Maaloul, and discussed the fraternal and bilateral relations between the leadership and peoples of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Tunisia. He expressed that the Bahraini private sector welcomes the continuation of cooperation with Tunisia in various economic sectors while stressing the need to activate trade and investment cooperation between Bahrain and Tunisia in various fields, including addressing the logistical challenges faced by both parties in line with common aspirations.
For her part, Ambassador Maaloul praised the efforts and prominent roles played by the Bahrain Chamber in promoting cooperation and investment relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Tunisia.
