Kuwaiti Banks' Deposits Increased To KD 50 Billion

The monthly statistics issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait revealed that total deposits with banks during January and February grew by 0.7 percent, with a value of 346.3 million dinars from 48.727 billion in December to 49.07 billion in February.

The CBE data showed that total deposits on a monthly basis rose 1 percent and by about 505 million, after it was 48.568 billion at the end of January. It also rose year-on-year by 3.7 percent to 1.749 billion from 47.324 billion in February 2023. The total deposits are divided into private sector deposits, government deposits, and public institution deposits, where the value of private sector deposits increased 0.76 percent to 283.5 million from 37.343 billion in December to 37.626 billion in February.
