The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, witnessed the signing of an agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to develop and rehabilitate Baghdad International Airport.
The Director General of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority signed an agreement with the International Finance Corporation to develop and rehabilitate Baghdad International Airport. The agreement includes providing the International Corporation with an integrated investment portfolio that includes how to expand, finance, operate, and maintain the international airport, raise the efficiency of its facilities and safety factors, and upgrade its services, to comply with international standards for airports in the world, through one of the specialized international companies.
