“G-World”, a specialist in studies and sector analysis, predicted that the size of the retail market in Saudi Arabia would rise to 661.1 billion riyals ($ 176.5 billion) by 2026. It revealed steady growth in the value of e-commerce over the past years by 18.24 percent.
According to the report, the value of sales in 2022 reached more than 37 billion riyals ($ 9.8 billion) because of the shift of many merchants to modern retail. According to the report, GDP per capita at current prices rose to 29,000 riyals ($7.7 thousand) during the second quarter of the previous year, compared to 20,000 riyals ($5.3 thousand) in the same period in 2021.
