Dubai has ranked first in the Middle East and 20th globally in the list of the richest cities in the world, according to the latest report issued by Henley & Partners in partnership with wealth data and research firm New World Wealth.
The wealth of high-net-worth individuals, worth $1 million and above, in Dubai grew by 62 percent between 2012 and 2022. The city also saw around 3,500 wealthy people move in 2022 alone. According to the report, Dubai hosts 68,400 high-net-worth individuals and 206 centi-millionaires (of high net worth $100 million and above), in addition to 15 billionaires.
