The World Bank has predicted that global economic growth will slow by 2.2 percent by 2030. According to a recent report by the Bank, this decline in growth includes more developed countries and those developing and emerging alike.

The World Bank attributed its negative outlook to the consequences of the Corona pandemic and its impact on the education of children and adolescents and on the economy in the long term, in addition to the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the disruptions in international trade dealing.

The World Bank predicted that developing economies would decline sharply in economic growth by the same amount, from 6 percent a year between 2000 and 2010 to 4 percent a year for the remainder of the decade. This decline is likely to be more severe in the event of a global financial crisis or recession.
